Background
The business has been around for over 60 years. It became National Flexible some 30 years ago when Barry Twigg, the current Chairman, undertook an MBO.

Culture
The company is employee-owned, with shareholders at every level. The business premises are owned by the employee pension fund to whom rent is paid.

People
The average length of service in the business is over 10 years. The 5-person management team has over 130 years’ experience working together. This exceptional longevity results in exceptional depth of knowledge at every level to the benefit of our customers and suppliers.

Products
National Flexible has one of the UK’s largest film slitting facilities, specializing in OPP, PET, coated and barrier films. The primary product range is printed and laminated films which go predominantly into the bakery, hot filled liquids, sachets, thermoformed and pouch markets, allied to a strong presence in paper, flow wrap and large format bags for pet food.
