Judging Process     

The UK Packaging Awards are well respected throughout the industry for their prestigious and rigorous judging process. Our esteemed panel of industry experts comes together each year to review the latest products and performance in the sector and determine those who are outstanding in their field.

Each year, the judging follows the below stages to ensure a fair and transparent process:

Stage 1: Online Judging: Once the entry phase closes, the judges will independently review submissions online and provide their own feedback and scores for each entry.

Stage 2: In-Person Judging Day: Once the online reviews are complete, the judges meet in person to discuss as a panel their scores and feedback. Here, judges will have the opportunity to evaluate packs in person, enabling them to further assess each product's details. Judges will be split into panels best suited to their expertise (but also with a good mix of expertise, and with no conflict of interest) and, together, they will decide a winner, highly commended and shortlist for each category.
